Army vehicle caught fire due to terrorists' grenade in Poonch, 5 soldiers martyred in the accident

Unidentified terrorists today fired upon an army vehicle running between Bhimber Gali and Poonch in the Rajouri sector, an army official said. The martyred jawans belonged to the Rashtriya Rifles Unit.

According to the information, these jawans belonged to the Rashtriya Rifles unit deployed for counter terrorist operation. The army said that the search for the attackers is on and further investigation is underway. At the same time, the Army Chief has informed Defense Minister Rajnath Singh regarding this matter.
