The state unit of the party has released the first list of candidates for the municipal elections. The candidates for the remaining seats will also be announced soon. Enrol by 14 November
The process of filing nominations for the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections started on 7th November. Nominations will be done till 14 November. Candidates can withdraw their names till November 19 and polling will be held on December 4. The counting of votes will take place on December 7. This is the first civic body election after the new delimitation of the Municipal Corporation in Delhi. The election is being held for 250 wards. This time 22 wards have been reduced in the Delhi MCD elections. In the last Delhi Municipal Corporation elections, polling was held on 272 wards.
UP candidates list soon BSP
The party will also contest the UP municipal elections. Regarding this, the party cadre has started sitting ward-wise. On the other hand, as soon as the reservation roster is implemented, the BSP will release the list of candidates for the municipal elections in Uttar Pradesh.
