Addressing a public meeting in Azamgarh, CM Yogi said that the BJP's double-engine government has developed each and every village in the state. The earlier governments used to show favouritism in development and schemes, but now all the citizens of the state are getting the benefits of the schemes.
New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing a public meeting in Azamgarh said that since 2017 the district has changed its identity. He said that earlier Azamgarh was known throughout the country for negative reasons, but now it is known as a development hub. He said that earlier when the people of this place used to go out, they were given houses on rent and people far away used to look at them with inferiority complex, but today they are seen with respect in the whole country.
Earlier governments used to do favoritism - CM Yogi
Inaugurating more than 8700 crore projects in Azamgarh on Friday, CM Yogi said that BJP's double engine government has developed each and every village of the state. The earlier governments used to show favoritism in development and schemes, but now all the citizens of the state are getting the benefits of the schemes. Roads are being built to every village of the state. Water is being supplied to the houses. We consider the people of the state as our family and we are working for this family.
Earlier good electricity was available only in Ramzan - Amit Shah
While addressing this public meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that there is a vast difference between the land and the sky in Uttar Pradesh earlier and today's Uttar Pradesh. Earlier there was no electricity in the villages. 24-hour electricity was available in the state only during Ramzan. But today in Yogi Adityanath's government, electricity is reaching every village for 24 hours. Amit Shah said that the earlier governments were troubling the people of the state by doing appeasement. But now for the BJP government, the people of the entire state are its family and the government is taking care of its entire family.
People of Azamgarh blessed like Bholeshankar - Amit Shah
Amit Shah said that the people of Uttar Pradesh have given blessings like Lord Bholenath in the years 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2022. The people here voted in full for the BJP and taking care of you, the Modi government opened the coffers of Delhi. Amit Shah said that in the coming 2024 elections also, the people of this place will vote for BJP only and will once again make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister.
