Corona cases are increasing rapidly, 3641 cases registered within last 24 hours

New Delhi: Corona infection has started increasing again in the country. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 3,641 cases have been reported in India during the last 24 hours on Monday. To bring it under control, there will be a mock drill across the country from April 10 to 11 by Central Government.


At the same time, 7 corona infected patients died during this period. In this, 3 corona infected patients have died in Maharashtra. At the same time, one corona-infected patient has died in Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala and Rajasthan. However, there has been a slight decline today as compared to Sunday's figure of 3,824.


What is the active and recovery rate?

According to the ministry's data, 1,800 patients were cured of corona in the same period, due to which the number of people recovering from the epidemic has increased to 4,41,75,135. Active cases have reached 0.04%.


The national recovery rate has been recorded at 98.76 per cent. The daily positivity rate is 6.12 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 2.45 per cent. A total of 59,512 tests have been done in the last 24 hours. Last week saw an increase with 18,450 new cases, significantly higher than the previous week's 8,781 cases.


A total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses (95.21 crore second doses and 22.86 crore precaution doses) have been given in the last 24 hours, 686 doses under the nationwide vaccination campaign. On Sunday, the country recorded 3,824 new Covid cases, 27 per cent higher than Saturday's figure.


What did the Health Minister say about Corona?

On the situation of Covid-19 in the country, Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said, we need to be alert, but there is no need to worry. Currently, the sub-variant of Omicron that is running in the country does not require hospitalization of patients. More than 400 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours, while one patient has died. According to the data released by the Delhi Health Department, 429 new cases of corona have come on Sunday and with this, the corona infection rate has gone up to 16.09 per cent.
