Covid Restrictions: Strict on Corona, UP government made face masks mandatory again

Corona Restrictions: In view of the increasing corona cases across the country, the Uttar Pradesh government has shown strictness. The state government has made masks mandatory in public places in the districts falling in NCR including the capital Lucknow.


Delhi: For the last few days, cases of corona are increasing rapidly across the country. The maximum number of corona cases are coming out in Delhi and NCR. In view of this, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a big decision. In view of the increasing cases of the corona, the Yogi government has made it mandatory to wear face masks in public places in Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Baghpat and Lucknow.


CM Yogi gave instructions

State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it should be made mandatory to wear masks in public places in NCR districts (Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Baghpat) and Lucknow district. In these districts, the people left out from vaccination should be identified and vaccinated. Public address system should be used effectively. People with symptoms should be tested. On Monday, CM Yogi along with a Team of 9 was reviewing the situation of Corona in the districts of the state.


Corona cases are increasing continuously

For the last four days, there is a continuous increase in corona cases in UP. In view of this, CM Yogi has already instructed the districts coming in NCR to be on alert. In the last 24 hours, 115 new cases have been reported in UP, after which the total number of active cases of corona in the state has increased to 695. This is the first time after the month of January that so many cases of corona are being seen in the state. Most of the cases are being seen in Noida and Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi only.
