Delhi Winter Vacation, Delhi NCR Weather: Amidst the dense fog prevailing in Delhi NCR, a lot of relief has been given to the students. Winter vacation has been extended in Delhi-NCR schools. In such a situation, students will be helped to avoid cold. Meanwhile, students' studies will not be allowed to be harmed.
New Delhi: These days North India is in the grip of cold wave. In the last few days, the temperature in many states including Delhi-NCR has gone up to 2-3 degrees (Delhi Weather Today). Keeping in mind the health of children in this season, winter vacation has been extended in schools.
Most of the schools in Delhi-NCR were earlier to open from 9 January 2023 (Delhi Schools Reopening Date). But in view of the dense fog and cold winds, this decision has been postponed for the time being. Delhi government and DM of Noida and Ghaziabad have ordered to extend winter vacation in schools.
When will schools open in Delhi?
A red alert for cold was issued in Delhi and North India today i.e. till January 10, 2023 (Red Alert In Delhi). There is a possibility of continuation of cold for one or two days. In view of this situation, all private and government schools of Delhi-NCR have been ordered to be closed till January 15, 2023. Now the schools will open from Monday, January 16, 2023, after Makar Sankranti (Makar Sankranti 2023).
How will the children's education be?
Winter vacation has been extended in most of the states. But in the meanwhile the education of the children will not suffer much. Currently, syllabus is being completed through online study in schools. At the same time, in most schools, students from 9th to 12th are doing physical study by going to schools. This will help in completing the course before the board exams and final exams of other classes.
Exams are being conducted as per schedule
These days CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Pre Board Exams are going on (CBSE Pre Board Exams 2023). No change has been made in the schedule of these examinations even because of the winter vacation in the schools.
