Earlier, illegal weapons were made to kill people in UP, now missiles are made to protect the nation

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has targeted the earlier governments of UP in a rally in Jaunpur. During this, he also attacked former CM Akhilesh Yadav.

New Delhi: BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in the fish town of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. During this, he said that earlier illegal weapons were made in Uttar Pradesh, which were used to intimidate and kill people. Today ammunition and missiles are being made, which are being used for the defence of the country. He said that this change has happened in the BJP government.

Amit Shah said in the rally, "In 2014, 2017 and 2019, you made BJP win. This Akhilesh Babu is a light bowler, now he has bowled a full toss. Now you have to hit the boundary of victory." He said that the BJP's double engine government has done the work of grooming the future of the poor people of the state by laying a network of expressways, medical colleges and metro all around.

Before Jaunpur, Amit Shah also held a rally in Chandauli. He said, "UP was not ahead in anything other than crime and riots during Akhilesh Yadav's tenure. We have brought it first in manufacturing and milk-pea production and third in rice production."

Amit Shah also reached Varanasi late in the evening and visited the newly constructed Kashi Vishwanath Corridor there. He had darshan of Baba Vishwanath and worshipped there. Many pictures of Amit Shah have also come to the fore, in which he is seen touring the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.
