ED's grip: Rahul Gandhi summoned in National Herald case for the fifth time

Mumbai: Summons have been sent to Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab. He has been summoned on Tuesday i.e. June 21.

New Delhi: The ED has questioned the former Congress president for nearly 40 hours during the four days. But it seems that this is still insufficient. The agency has summoned him for the fifth consecutive day i.e. on Tuesday as well. He will be questioned again in the National Herald case. On the other hand, Congress has been shocked by this summon. He feels that the central government is doing injustice. Party workers are protesting by taking to the streets.

On the other hand, Congress leaders also met President Ram Nath Kovind. During this, the issue of police misbehaviour with MPs and the Agneepath scheme for protesting against ED's interrogation of Rahul Gandhi was raised. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that 7 leaders met President Ram Nath Kovind and raised 2 issues. Along with the attitude of ED and Delhi Police, a memorandum has also been submitted to him regarding the Agneepath scheme.

Kharge said that through the Agneepath scheme, BJP wants to prepare thousands of youths and bring them to the RSS. His question was whether it has happened in any country that after giving training for four years, he should be released. This is being done so that the youth do not protest against inflation and unemployment. The opposition could not resist, that is why Rahul Gandhi is also being harassed unnecessarily through the ED.

Sonia Gandhi came out of the hospital

Rahul Gandhi is being questioned in the money laundering case related to the National Herald. Congress President Sonia Gandhi was also sent a notice in this case. Due to Corona, she was admitted to Gangaram Hospital. Today Sonia Gandhi has left. Congress General Secretary-in-Charge Sanchar Jairam Ramesh tweeted that Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been discharged from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and has been advised to rest.

Targeting Shiv Sena through Parab

The ED has tightened the noose badly on the three components of the Mahavikas Aghadi government. While the former Congress president is appearing in the National Herald case in front of the agency four times, NCP Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh are already in jail. Now Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab has been summoned. He has been summoned on Tuesday i.e. June 21.
