A total of four people were hit by bullets in the shootout incident. Sanjeev Jeeva, who is said to be close to Mukhtar Ansari, died on the spot after being shot. Apart from Sanjeev Jeeva, three people were shot in the firing incident. This incident of firing in the court created an atmosphere of chaos.
According to the information, two girls and a police constable were also shot in this firing incident. A girl injured in the bullet died during treatment, while a child and a police constable are injured, and are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

According to police records, more than two dozen cases were registered against Sanjeev Maheshwari alias Jeeva, out of which Sanjeev was acquitted in 17 cases, while his gang has more than 35 members. Sanjeev has been accused of operating the gang even from jail.
