Haryana: Education Minister said- CBSE syllabus will reconsider class VIII board examinations

Haryana Education Minister Kanwarpal said that there will be sympathetic discussion on the demand of parents not to take board exams this year.

Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister Kanwarpal said that a reconsideration will be done in the meeting to be chaired by the Chief Minister regarding the conduct of class VIII board examinations in CBSE affiliated schools. Education Minister Kanwarpal gave this information to the parents of the students in Yamunanagar today. The parents had come to meet the students studying in class VIII from the CBSE syllabus with their demand not to take the board exams this year.

The Education Minister said that a meeting of the Chief Minister, senior officials and delegation of various private school associations would be held in Chandigarh on February 25 with various stakeholders in this matter. In this meeting, their demand will be discussed sympathetically.

The parents argued before the Education Minister Kanwarpal that the syllabus of each CBSE school is different this year. NCERT books are not installed in every school, but private publication syllabus is there. In such a situation, if the board takes the paper, then it will not be possible for all the children to prepare in the same way.
