Delhi: Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar. Goldie Brar had claimed responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Gangster Goldie Brar is currently being said to be in Canada. Interpol has also issued a Red Corner Notice against gangster-turned-terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda of Babbar Khalsa. Rinda is wanted in many terrorist attacks in Punjab and North India including the Mohali terror attack, and the Ludhiana court complex attack.

In the notice issued by Interpol, the age of Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar has been given as 28 years and that of Harvinder Singh Rinda is 32 years. In this, Brar's height is 1.75 meters and weight is 100 kg, while Rinda's height is 1.7 meters and weight is 70 kg. According to the notice, Brar has been booked for murder, criminal conspiracy, supply of illegal arms and attempt to murder. At the same time, there is a long list of cases against Harvinder including an attempt to murder. It has been said about both these accused that both know Hindi, English and Punjabi.
CBI exposed the claim of the Punjab Police
Earlier, the Punjab Police's claim was in jeopardy when the CBI issued a statement on Thursday saying that it had received a request to issue a Red Corner Notice against Goldie Brar on May 30, a day after Sidhu Moosewala's murder. Moosewala was murdered on 29 May in the Mansa district of Punjab. The Punjab Police on Wednesday claimed that it had requested to issue a Red Corner Notice against Goldie Brar 10 days before Musewala's murder, following which the CBI presented its stand.
Email of Punjab Police was received on 30th May
The CBI said that it had received a request from the Investigation Bureau of Punjab Police through an email on May 30 at 12:25 pm. A letter dated May 19 was also attached to the email, requesting to issue a Red Corner Notice against Brar on the basis of two FIRs registered against him by the Punjab Police at the Nagar Police Station, Faridkot. "In the present case, the 'hard copy' of the motion to issue Red Corner Notice by Punjab Police against Satindrajit Singh alias Goldie was received by CBI, New Delhi on 30 May 2022," the CBI said.
