Mathura: Lord Rama's form will be given to Kanhaiya of the Krishna birthplace temple

Lord Keshav Dev ji of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple located in Mathura will be given the form of Lord Rama. Instead of the peacock crown, a crested crown will be worn on his head. They will also be made to wear bow and arrow.

New Delhi: Lord Keshav Dev Ji of Sri Krishna Janmasthan Temple located in Mathura, UP will be given the form of Lord Ram. Instead of a peacock crown, a crested crown will be worn on his head and he will also be made to wear a silver bow and arrows.


The reason behind this is that every year on the occasion of Ram Navami, Lord Krishna is given the form of Lord Rama for one day. Thousands of devotees gather on this occasion and people chant Lord Rama.

Every year the festival of Ram Navami is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. According to the scriptures, Lord Shri Ram was born on the Navami day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. That's why this day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram. On this day, Lord Rama is worshipped according to the rules and regulations, and drums are also played.


This year Ram Navami will be celebrated on 30 March 2023.
