Mithali Raj retires from international cricket, writing an emotional letter

New Delhi: Mithali made her international debut on 26 June 1999 in an ODI match against Ireland. At the same time, his last international match was played against South Africa in the World Cup on 27 March 2022.


Mithali has many records in her name as a female cricketer. She is the first female cricketer to play 200 ODIs. She scored a century on debut in ODIs and also holds the record for the most runs in ODI cricket. She scored 7805 runs with the help of seven centuries and 64 half-centuries.


Mithali Raj represented Team India in 12 Tests, 232 ODIs and 89 T20 matches in her career. In ODIs, he scored 7805 runs at an average of 50.68. She scored 699 runs in Tests at an average of 43.68.


This includes one century and four half-centuries. At the same time, 2364 runs were scored in T20 at an average of 37.52. She scored 17 half-centuries in this. His highest score was 97 not out.
