National Herald Case: Congress's ruckus on Rahul's interrogation by ED, BJP's counterattack

Congressmen are protesting across the country on the ongoing ED's interrogation of Rahul Gandhi. On the other hand, BJP targeted and said that Congressmen are doing violence by taking to the streets in the name of protesting.

New Delhi: Congressmen are protesting across the country over the ongoing interrogation of Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the National Herald case. Party workers have taken to the streets in different parts of the country against the government. At the same time, all the veteran leaders of the party are present in Delhi only. Last week a meeting of General Secretaries of All India Congress Committee, state in-charges and heads of State Congress Committee was convened to decide the strategy of this scheme.


Congress's allegation of the government

Congress alleges that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are being implicated in the conspiracy. The central government is misusing the central investigative agencies to suppress the voice of the opposition. Congress is protesting on the streets across the country regarding this matter.


BJP's counterattack - Violence in the name of demonstration

Countering the performance of Congress, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that now the real face of Congress has come to the fore. Violence is being done by taking to the streets in the name of protesting. Demonstrations were arson in many places.


BJP spokesperson said that Rahul is only an MP. Rahul is not Congress President. He said that Congress is trying to hide corruption under the guise of demonstration. The people of the party whose two former Prime Ministers had surrendered themselves to Bharat Ratna while in the government, the people of the same family gave themselves all the property and money of the institution formed with the help of the freedom fighters.
