New Delhi: On March 25, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will complete six years in office. With this, he will become the longest-serving Chief Minister in UP. According to a spokesperson of the state government, as soon as the first year of Yogi's second term is completed, he will have a record of holding the post of Chief Minister for 6 consecutive years and 6 days. This is the longest tenure so far for any chief minister in the state. According to him, on March 1 itself, he had achieved the record of being the Chief Minister for the longest time (five years 346 days). Prior to this, Dr Sampooranand of Congress was the Chief Minister of the state for five years and 345 days from 1954 to 1960.


BJP started preparations for the celebration in the entire UP

The first year of the Uttar Pradesh government 'Yogi 2.0' will be celebrated in the entire state on March 25. The BJP and the government have started preparations regarding this. The BJP-led state government will start the celebrations by holding a press conference in Lucknow, where Yogi, deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, party state president Bhupendra Singh Choudhary, state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh and other party functionaries will be present. .


The Chief Minister will tell about the achievements of his government in the last six years and the changes that have taken place in the state in the last six years. He will also talk about the investment-friendly climate created in the state due to better law and order situations and employment and self-employment opportunities.


BJP came to power for the second time by winning 255 seats.

Apart from this, press conferences will be held by the in-charge ministers in various districts of the state. Local MPs, MLAs, District Panchayat President and Legislative Council members will be present in these press conferences. In 2022, the BJP came to power in the state for the second time by winning 255 seats in the state assembly. The state unit of the party will also celebrate the occasion with various functions.
