Karachi: Once again in Pakistan, the idols of the deities have been damaged by attacking the Hindu temple. According to reports, the incident is from Karachi, Pakistan's largest city, where the priest was beaten up after attacking the temple and the idols were vandalized. Giving information about the incident, the police said that the idols of deities were vandalized in the Shri Mari Mata temple located in the Korangi area of ​​Karachi on Wednesday. According to locals, the miscreants also assaulted the priest.


Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident. After taking stock of the spot, the police inquired in connection with the case. The Hindu community of Karachi is in panic after the incident of vandalism of idols in the temple and assault on the priest. Police have been deployed in the Korangi area to prevent any untoward incident, although it has been seen on several occasions that even such arrangements do not make much difference. A person named Sanjeev told that 6-8 people on bike attacked the temple. "We don't know who carried out the attack and why," he said.


5 to 6 unidentified people vandalized

Giving information about the incident, Korangi SHO Farooq Sanjrani said, "5 to 6 unidentified people ransacked the temple and then fled. A case is being registered against unknown suspects who attacked the temple. Places of worship and people of the minority Hindu community have been targeted frequently in Pakistan. In the last few years, several incidents of vandalism have come to the fore in temples. There are also reports of atrocities against other minority communities in Pakistan, including those related to Sikhs and Christians.
