CM Yogi fixed the responsibility of the officials in Varanasi and instructed them that no criminal or person of mafia image could get any kind of contract.
Varanasi: The condition of criminals and mafia will worsen in UP as the Yogi government is ready to break their back financially. CM Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to the officials on Saturday that under no circumstances should any work contract be given to a person of criminal or mafia image.
The Chief Minister, who reached Varanasi on Saturday, held a review meeting of development works and law and order in the auditorium of Circuit House and fixed the responsibility and accountability of the officers.
According to an official statement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while reviewing the ongoing development projects in the city, directed the concerned departmental officers to complete the work with quality within the stipulated time by campaigning on a war footing.
Instructions to fix the traffic system
According to the statement, CM Yogi has also given strict instructions to the officials to take care that no criminal or person of mafia image can get any contract under any circumstances. The Chief Minister directed the officials to ease the traffic system of the city during the G-20 meeting to be held in Varanasi from June 11 to 13.
Referring to the security lapses in the previous Kashi Vishwanath temple, he ordered security arrangements and chalking. During the review meeting, Varanasi Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that at present work is going on in the city on a total of 61 projects of the Center and the State, whose total cost is Rs 10,305 crore. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited and worshipped at Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple.
