PM Modi arrives in Germany on the first foreign tour of the year, got a great welcome in Berlin

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his three-day official foreign tour. He first reached Germany on Monday morning. PM Modi's red carpet was welcomed here in Berlin. PM Modi will remain in Germany today, he will meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and also co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultation. On Tuesday, he will go to Denmark and after that, he has to go on a tour of France as well.


PM Narendra Modi Europe Visit Day-1: PM Narendra Modi is on his three-day official foreign tour. During this, PM Modi first reached Germany. On reaching Berlin here, he was given a warm welcome. PM Modi will meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz here and also co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultation. From here he will also go to Denmark and France and here he will meet the heads of the three countries and participate in many important conferences.


Ahead of his visit, PM Modi said on Sunday night that his visit to Europe is taking place at a time when the region is grappling with many challenges. He said that he wants to strengthen the spirit of cooperation of European partners with India. He said European partners are key partners in India's quest for peace and prosperity. This is the first foreign visit of the Prime Minister this year.


PM will meet with the German chancellor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the first day of his visit. During this, both the leaders will co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultative Meeting. Prime Minister Modi said that many ministers of both countries will also attend this meeting. This will be PM Modi's first meeting with Scholz, who came to power in December last year. During this, PM Modi and Scholz will also jointly address a business conference.
