PM Modi said at Centre-State Science Conclave, said: 'Celebrate the achievements of scientists'

In the program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that when there is a combination of knowledge and science, then the way to freedom from all the troubles of the world automatically opens.


New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Centre-State Science Conclave on Saturday. While addressing this program, PM Modi said that new inventions are happening in India today. Science is working like energy in the development of the country. Today, as India is moving towards leading the fourth industrial revolution, the role of India's science and its people is very important.


He said, "Today, science will play a vital role in accelerating the development of all sectors for the development of New India of the 21st century. This conclave is the first of its kind to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the country through Centre-State coordination and collaboration."


'Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan with now Jai Vigyan too'

PM Modi said in the program that, "When there is a combination of knowledge and science, then the way of freedom from all the troubles of the world automatically opens." He said that science is the basis of solutions and innovation. With this inspiration, today's new India, Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan as well as Jai Anusandhan are moving forward with the call.


'Celebrate the achievements of scientists fiercely'

PM Modi said that when we celebrate the achievements of our scientists, science becomes a part of our society, it becomes part of the culture. Therefore, my first request today is that we should celebrate the achievements of the scientists of our country fiercely.


'India is not behind western countries'

The PM further said that in the West scientists like Einstein, Fermi, Max Planck, Niels Bohr, and Tesla were surprising the world with their experiments. At the same time, many scientists including India's CV Raman, Jagdish Chandra Bose, Satyendranath Bose, Meghnad Saha and S Chandrashekhar were bringing their new discoveries to the fore.
