Preparation for Deepotsav begins in Ramnagari, 16 lakh lamps will be lit

This time 16 processions will leave Saket Mahavidyalaya and go on a city tour to the venue of Deepotsav. At the same time, this time along with the Ram Janmabhoomi model and Kashi Corridor, a tableau based on the development of Ayodhya in 2047 is also being prepared.

New Delhi: Preparations have been started for the sixth Deepotsav in Ramnagar Ayodhya. This time the procession, which is the centre of attraction in Deepotsav, has also intensified. It is being told that this time 16 processions will leave Saket College and will go to the place of Deepotsav while travelling the city.


At the same time, this time along with the Ram Janmabhoomi model and Kashi Corridor, a tableau based on the development of Ayodhya in 2047 is also being prepared. Apart from this, tableaux of Ramayana carpet scenes carrying social messages will be taken out. The tableaux will leave from Saket Mahavidyalaya at 9 in the morning, and will reach the place of Deepotsav by 1:00 PM while visiting the city.


The centre of most attraction in the Deepotsav is the city-travelling tableaux carrying social messages based on Ramayana era education, in which different artists ride on 11 chariots with one episode each. During this, all the artists keep bringing alive the Ramayana carpet scenes while displaying their artwork. Apart from this, dancers from different places from all over the country walk around the chariot. The procession in Deepotsav is the centre of attraction for the common public devotees because skilled artists perform in their respective genres and participate in the procession. Huh. This time 16 chariots will be involved in the procession, in which 11 chariots are being prepared by the Information Department and five by the Department of Tourism and Culture. In fact, this is the first Deepotsav of the second term of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, which is being prepared on a war footing to make it grand and divine. A world record will be set once again on Ram's foot by lighting about 16 lakh lamps.


In this regard, Director of Information Dr Muralidhar said that the main role of the Information Department is to the tableau during the Diwali festival. This time the sixth Deepotsav is being celebrated during the tenure of the Chief Minister. Trying to have maximum participation. This time, tableaux will be taken out on 11 open trucks, which will be based on scenes from the Ramayana era, from the birth of Lord Rama to the coronation of Rama. Apart from this, the model of Ram temple is being built and the tableau based on the vision of 2047 Ayodhya in which the model of development of Ayodhya has been presented will also be the centre of attraction.


Many state artists will be involved

Ram Tirath, the administrative officer of Ayodhya Research Institute, told that this time the sixth Deepotsav is to be celebrated. In such a situation, preparations are being made to celebrate Deepotsav in a grand and elaborate manner this time. Artists from many states will get an opportunity to participate in the procession. The Shobha Yatra will leave Saket College at 9:00 am and will reach the venue of Deepotsav at 1:00 am.
