New Delhi: BJP has won a massive victory in the Uttarakhand assembly elections. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party has announced the names of its observers for the state. The responsibility of observer in Uttarakhand has been entrusted to Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and the responsibility of co-observer to Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi.

Apart from this, BJP has appointed Union Home Minister Amit Shah and former Jharkhand CM Raghuvar Das as observers for UP. While Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Narendra Tomar are being sent as observers for government formation in Manipur and Goa respectively.

The exercise of government formation in Uttarakhand has intensified.

It is believed that the work of government formation in Uttarakhand will be done after Holi. By the way, BJP has returned to power after five years, breaking the myth of changing the government. BJP has won 47 seats this time. At the same time, Congress has been second with 19 seats. Apart from this, BSP has won two seats and independents have won two seats. However, even after the victory of BJP, the loss of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami from Khatima has become the tension of the party. According to party sources, the top leadership is in favour of making an MLA the chief minister, out of which the first name is cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj and the second name is Dhan Singh Rawat. Both names are floating in the political aisles as the next chief minister, but all eyes are on the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and JP Nadda, as they have to make the final decision.

At the same time, Uttarakhand's caretaker CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Monday that the process of government formation is going on and a meeting of the legislature party will be held soon. After that, the process of formation of the new government will be started.

These MLAs have offered to resign

To make Dhami the chief minister again, five BJP MLAs have so far announced to give up their seats for him, including Champawat MLA Kailash Gahtori, Jageshwar's Mohan Singh Mehra, Lalkua's Dr Mohan Singh Bisht, Roorkee's Pradeep Batra and the name of independent MLA from Khanpur Umesh Kumar are included.
