New Delhi : There was such an incident of robbery in Uttam Nagar, Delhi, seeing that it seems that it is not a real incident but a scene of a picture. On Wednesday, some thieves forcibly entered the house of a businessman living in Uttam Nagar, Delhi and took the entire family captive. The thieves escaped from the house by tying the hands and feet of women and children taking away all the ornaments and about Rs 7-8 lakh in cash. Police are now probing the matter.
According to the police complaint, four people forcibly entered the house and took the entire family captive. After stealing jewelry and cash, they all fled. But all this incident was captured in the CCTV installed in the house. The four accused were wearing face masks and one of them was wearing a helmet on his head. It can be seen in the video that as soon as the thieves entered the house forcibly, the thieves started tying the family.
Complainant Vinod said, "Around 2 o'clock, 4 people posing as electricity workers entered our house. As soon as thieves entered the house, they took the whole family captive. They had weapons. They were in our house for about half an hour.
According to Vinod, his wife, two children and mother-in-law were present at the time of the incident. The thieves had tied the hands and feet of women and children. Vinod told, thieves opened the locker and took away all the jewellery, 7-8 lakh cash along with them.
On receiving the complaint, the police reached Vinod's house. Further investigation is on.
