According to the PMO, the two leaders also discussed issues of bilateral interest and agreed on the potential to further deepen cooperation in various areas, including trade, technology, investment, defence and security and people-to-people ties. Accordingly, Modi expressed satisfaction at the positive momentum in the ongoing negotiations on a bilateral free trade agreement. He also appreciated the progress made in implementing the 'India-UK Roadmap 2030' adopted during the virtual summit between the two leaders last year. The Prime Minister expressed his desire to welcome PM Johnson to India at the earliest, as per mutual convenience.
