UNFPA has released a report titled 'The State of World Population Report 2023' titled '8 Billion Lives, Infinite Possibilities: The Case for Rights and Choice'. It has been said in this report that the population of India has now exceeded that of China.

According to UNFPA figures, the population of India has reached around 140 crores and this figure is about 2 million more than the population of China.

Now Union Minister Giriraj Singh has given a big statement on the increasing population in the country. He said that this increasing population is a threat to the entire country. Giriraj Singh said, "The increasing population is a threat to the holistic development of India.
