UP Chunav 2022: Banaras is ready for PM Modi's roadshow, there will be a grand welcome on every road

In order to ensure the victory of BJP candidates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kashi Vishwanath's Daro Godauliya while doing a roadshow on Sardar Patel's statue in Varanasi today. Banaras is well prepared for PM Modi's roadshow. Grand decoration has been done on the roads through which the PM will pass.

Lucknow: BJP flag, banner-balloon and ensign etc. have been put up. There will also be a glimpse of different types of tableaux on the route of the Prime Minister's road show. The people of Varanasi are ready to give a grand welcome to their MP and the Prime Minister of the country.


The PM will remain in Kashi till the campaigning for the seventh and final phase ends. PM Modi will start the roadshow by garlanding the statue of Sardar Patel in Maldahiya from 2 pm today. The nearly 3.1 kilometre long roadshow will start from the city's northern assembly constituency and end at the cantt assembly via the southern assembly.


BJP regional president Mahesh Chand Srivastava said that Kashi residents are more desperate than BJP workers to give a grand welcome to their MP and Prime Minister of the country in Banaras. He said that on Friday, Kashi is going to look completely Modified.


During PM Modi's roadshow, police's rooftop force will be deployed and the crowd will be monitored by drone cameras. For this, technical experts from outside have also been called by the Commissionerate Police. Technology is also being used to monitor the roofs. Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh said that the security system of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very tight.


Prime Minister Modi will hold a roadshow from Godauliya to Maidagin in Varanasi. After paying obeisance at Kashi Vishwanath Dham, he will garland the Malviya statue located in Lanka via Sonarpura.


PM Modi will begin his roadshow with a wreath at the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Maldahiya at around 2 pm. The route of the road show will start from Maldahiya intersection and will go through Lahurabir, Kabirchaura, Lohatia, Maidagin, Nichibagh, Chowk to Baba Vishwanath Dham. From where the Prime Minister after taking blessings from Baba Vishwanath will garland the statue of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya located at BHU Gate via Sonarpura, Assi Marg.


The PM's roadshow will be the longest in the city South, the reason behind this is being considered as the reason behind the neck-to-neck collision in this assembly seat. After reaching Godaulia late in the evening, PM Modi will attend the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and from there will also go on a cruise to Kashi Vishwanath Dham.


On March 5, PM Modi will address the voters of the eight assembly seats of Varanasi with a public meeting of Khajuri. Along with this, a program of dialogue with the enlightened people of Kashi is also being planned.
