In the seventh phase, polling is to be held on March 7 in 54 assembly seats in 9 districts from Azamgarh to Varanasi of Purvanchal, where the fate of 613 candidates is to be decided. In such a situation, after 4 pm on Saturday, March 5, there will be a ban on campaigning in three assembly seats (Chakia, Robertsganj, Duddhi) and in the remaining 51 assembly seats after 6 pm. This ban will remain in effect for 48 hours till the end of voting on March 7.
In the seventh phase, the process of voting will start from 7 am in 54 assembly seats in nine districts of the state. The voting time is fixed for three assembly seats (Chakia, Robertsganj, Duddhi) till 4 pm and in the remaining 51 assembly seats till 6 pm. In the seventh phase, Robertsganj, Obra, Duddhi, Didarganj, Atraula, Gopalpur, Sakaldiha, Sagri, Shivpur, Mubarakpur, Sevapuri, Bhadohi, Gyanpur, Aurai, Madhuban, Ghosi, Mohammadabad Jewel, Mau, Mohammadabad, Syedpur, Chakia, Ajgar, Rohini, Fish City, Mariahu, Chambi, Mirzapur, Majhwan, Chunar, Shahganj, Jaunpur, Malhani, Badlapur, Pindara, Azamgarh, Nizamabad, Zamania, Mughalsarai, Phulpur- Powai, Lalganj, Mehrgarh, Jafrabad, Saidpur, Mariahan, Ghorawal, Varanasi North, Varanasi South, Varanasi Cantt, Ghazipur, Jangipur, Zahoorabad and Mungra Badshahpur.
55.7 percent voting took place in the sixth phase
Let us tell you, on March 3, in the sixth phase, votes were cast in 57 seats in 10 districts. In this phase 55.70 per cent voters exercised their franchise. The districts where voting took place included Balrampur, Ambedkar Nagar, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria and Ballia.
57.32 percent polling in fifth phase
At the same time, the fate of 692 candidates who landed on 61 seats in 12 districts of the fifth phase has now been imprisoned in the EVMs. In the fifth phase, 57.32 percent polling was recorded, which was less than four phases. In this phase, polling was held in religious cities like Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, while voting was held in the seats of Amethi, Barabanki, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, Bahraich and Kaushambi.
60.70 percent voting in the fourth phase
At the same time, according to the Election Commission, 60.70 percent voting has taken place in the fourth phase. According to the information received from the Election Commission's app, 67.16 percent in Pilibhit, 65.54 percent in Lakhimpur Kheri, 62.66 percent in Sitapur, 58.99 percent in Hardoi, 57.73 percent in Unnao, 56.96 percent in Lucknow, 61.90 percent in Rae Bareli, 57.74 percent in Banda. And in Fatehpur 60.07 percent votes were cast.
64 percent voting in the second phase and 62 percent in the first phase
In the second phase, 64.42 percent voters exercised their franchise in 55 seats in 9 districts. In this phase, the fate of 586 candidates was imprisoned in the EVMs. At the same time, during the first phase of polling, 62 percent voter turnout was recorded.
