New Delhi: Social media platforms WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook came to a standstill in different parts of the world on Monday evening. Due to this, the users had to face a lot of trouble. This information was given in various reports on Monday evening. The message on the Facebook website read, 'Sorry, something has gone wrong. We are working on it and will fix it as soon as possible'

Users posted messages on Twitter stating that they were unable to access these popular social networking and communication platforms around 9 pm Indian time. These three social media platforms owned by Facebook are very popular in India for messaging, photo sharing and social networking.


The portal showed that there were over 20,000 incidents of people having problems with Facebook and Instagram.


Meanwhile, social-media giant instant messaging platform WhatsApp was also down for over 14,000 users, while Messenger was down for around 3,000 users.


All three Facebook properties are market leaders in India in their categories of instant messaging, photo sharing and social networking.


Facebook has over 410 million users in India, and its WhatsApp Messenger considers the country its largest market with over 53 million users. Instagram has more than 21 crore users in India.
