The swearing-in ceremony of Yogi 2.0 has ended. Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister for the second time in a row. Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak took oath as Deputy CMs. A total of 52 ministers took oath during this period. Nitin Agarwal, Minister of State, Kapil Dev Agarwal, Ravindra Jaiswal, Sandeep Singh, Minister of State, Gulab Devi, Girish Chandra Yadav, Aseem Arun, Dharamvir Prajapati, Minister of State Dayashankar Singh, Minister of State, JPS Rathore, Inder Kumar Kashyap, Dinesh Pratap Singh, Arun Kumar Saxena, Dayashankar Mishra 'Dayalu' took oath as Ministers of State (Independent Charge).

Yogi was unanimously elected the leader of the newly-elected BJP Legislature Party in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday. Governor Anandiben Patel invited him to form the government.
