According to the information, the state government has decided to increase the rate of dearness allowance and dearness relief from 31% to 34% from January 1, 2022. After this decision, the state employees of Uttar Pradesh will be paid a dearness allowance (DA) in cash at an increased rate of three percent from August.


CM Yogi sent the file through Finance Minister

Explain that the Finance Department had sent a file through the Finance Minister to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the approval of payment of DA and DR at the increased rate to the employees and pensioners. The increase in DA of government employees and DR of pensioners is effective from the months of January and July.


In March, the central government also decided to give DA and DR to its employees and pensioners from January 1, 2022, at the rate of 34 percent instead of 31. Now after the decision of the UP government, the DA and DR of the state employees have also increased to 34 percent.
