Gaurav Bhatia said that it is unfortunate that out of 6 ministers of Aam Aadmi Party, 2 ministers are behind bars and in CBI custody in cases of the heinous crime of corruption, therefore Kejriwal should take moral responsibility and resign from the post of Chief Minister immediately.

New Delhi: Encouraged by the court sending Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to CBI remand, the BJP has once again targeted the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal, demanding his resignation from the post of Chief Minister.

Talking to the media at the BJP National Headquarters, the party's national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that it is unfortunate that out of 6 ministers of the Aam Aadmi Party, 2 ministers are behind bars and in CBI custody in cases of the heinous crime of corruption. Taking moral responsibility, Kejriwal should immediately resign from the post of Chief Minister. Bhatia alleged that Kejriwal, who took the oath of the Constitution, is today tearing apart the Constitution.

2 out of 6 ministers in jail

Countering allegations of political vendetta and vendetta being levelled by AAP leaders, Bhatia said that if Sisodia and Kejriwal feel that action in the liquor scam is being done out of political vendetta So they can go to the High Court or the Supreme Court. Still, since they do not have any facts, instead of going to the court, they are doing gimmicks. Giving a new name to Aam Aadmi Party as Chaotic Crime Party, he said that the decision passed by the court.

According to him, the number-one accused in the liquor scam has been sent to CBI custody till March 4. The investigating agency is honestly taking action against the corrupt under the law, but you neither respect the constitution, nor respect the court, nor respect the public. Taking a dig at AAP's 'Manish Chacha' campaign, the BJP spokesperson said that children across the country today are saying 'Chacha eat food or don't eat but don't take bribe'.
