Election officials said that the Commission has not yet received any demand for re-polling anywhere. "No major violent incident or attack on a candidate or election agent or intimidation of voters, hurling of bombs, re-election or damage to Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) has been reported so far," the commission said. While during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, there was a demand for re-polling from 168 places. Today's polling for the 60-member Tripura Legislative Assembly was by and large peaceful and there has been no demand for re-poll from anywhere so far.
