After a gap of almost 5 years, the light and sound show is starting afresh at the Red Fort. The new light and sound show will further strengthen the spirit of patriotism among the audience.
New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the light and sound show at Red Fort in Delhi on Tuesday evening. A light and sound show in a new avatar titled Jai Hind at the Red Fort will be a dramatic presentation of India's history and valour from the 17th century to the present day.
After a gap of about 5 years, the light and sound show is starting afresh in the Red Fort. Jai Hind, an hour-long light and sound show, is divided into three parts. In this, a live depiction of major events in the history of India including the rise of the Marathas, the freedom struggle of 1857, the rise of the Azad Hind Fauj and the trials of the INA will be presented.
Using all forms of performance art such as projection mapping, live-action films, light and immersive sound, actors, dancers and puppets, the freedom struggle and India's continuous progress over the last 75 years will be presented, an official said.
As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Archaeological Survey of India has already opened 4 museums, including Yaad-e-Jallian Museum, Museum on 1857, Azadi Ke Diwane and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Museum at Red Fort. Now the new light and sound show will further strengthen the spirit of patriotism among the audience.
The Central government says that the Archaeological Survey of India has been working continuously in recent years to glorify monuments and sites across the country, thereby enhancing the visitor experience, whether it is during the achievement of 100 crore vaccinations. Whether it is the arrangements for the completion of 75 years of independence and welcoming the G-20 representatives.
