JP Nadda said that the people of Nagaland are very patriotic. Patriotism is full of patriotism inside them. The culture here and the nature here attract people from all over the country and the world.
New Delhi: Assembly elections are to be held in Nagaland at the end of this month i.e. on 27 February. Earlier, BJP President JP Nadda reached Kohima. Here BJP's national president released the party's manifesto regarding the assembly elections. It has been named 'Sankalp Patra' by the party. During the release of the manifesto, JP Nadda fiercely attacked the opposition. He said that 5 years back North East had to face blockade, militancy, target attack etc. but today Nagaland is again on the path of peace, prosperity and development.
JP Nadda said, "Nagaland has been a development story. The insurgency has come down by 80% in the last 8 years and AFSPA has been removed from 66% of areas." He said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers the northeastern states as 'Ashta Lakshmi'. North East is developing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. We have laid a network of highways."
The map of the state has changed: Nadda
Releasing the manifesto, the BJP president said, "Earlier governments were known for bandhs, blockades, kidnappings, target killings and terrorism, but since Neiphiu Rio took over the reins of Nagaland, the map of the state has changed." Under his leadership, today Nagaland has become a place of peace and prosperity. Today the winds of development are blowing in Nagaland. You see development everywhere."
'PM's love for tribals is well known'
He said, "The people of Nagaland are very patriotic. Patriotism is deeply embedded in them. The culture here and the nature here attract the people of the country and the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's love for the tribals is worldwide- Obviously. It is because of her that today the country got the first tribal woman president. It is due to her respect for the tribals that today three governors in the country are from the tribal community and eight ministers in her cabinet are from the tribal community."
Today the country has become a giver: BJP President
He said, "Today the country has become a giver, not a taker. The whole world was amazed at the work we did during the Corona period. Today, if all of you are sitting here without a mask, it is because of, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's thinking. Today 100 per cent of vaccination has been done in the country. People have got double doses. Now boosters are also available. Along with this, Nadda said, "The work done under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio in Nagaland will definitely benefit the alliance."
