New Delhi: Now only a few days are left for the 26th January Republic Day Parade. If you also want to see the Republic Day Parade in Delhi, then you can book tickets online in a very easy way.
The country is going to celebrate its 74th Republic Day on 26 January. This time the Republic Day celebrations will be held at the renovated Central Vista Avenue. A total of 23 tableaux (17 from states and union territories, and 6 from various ministries and departments) will showcase the country's rich cultural heritage, economic and social progress, and strong internal and external security, the defence ministry said in a statement. Free ride in the metro
The invitees to the Republic Day celebrations and those going to witness the event with e-tickets will get free rides at two metro stations. If you exit from the two stations falling near the duty path – Udyog Bhawan and Central Secretariat and you have a ticket or invitation card or admit card for the Republic Day program, then you will be able to exit from these two metro stations for free. An online invitation management portal (www.aamantran.mod.gov.in) has been launched by the government for the Republic Day event.
This portal has been launched under the e-governance initiative of the government. With the help of this e-portal, you will be able to buy tickets online for the Republic Day event. It has been started on 6 January. The government has made 32,000 online tickets available to the common people. According to Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt, this portal will make it easy to buy tickets and save a huge amount of paper used in printing.
How to book online
First of all visit aamantran.mod.gov.in.
After opening the website, you will have to register yourself.
During registration, you will have to provide information like your name, address, date of birth and mobile number.
After registration OTP will come on your mobile.
With its help you login.
After login to the website, you will see the option of booking tickets.
Here you will see all the events for which tickets are on sale. (eg- FDR-Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Rehearsal-Beating the Retreat, Beating the Retreat - FDR, Beating the Retreat Ceremony).
Select the event you want to attend.
After this, select the Republic Day ticket range.
Now you have to give your personal details like name, date of birth, address, phone number, and ID card information.
After uploading the document, the payment option will appear.
Ticket booking will be done as soon as payment is made.
In the last step, download the ticket and keep it.
The booking window will open daily at 9 am. The last date for ticket booking is January 24.
This is the price of the ticket
If you want to see the Republic Day parade, then know that the ticket starts from 20 to 100 rupees and up to 500 rupees. When you are booking the ticket, the payment information will appear on your screen.
