Filed objection to tweet regarding Chhath Puja

Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has lodged an objection to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's tweet regarding Chhath Puja on October 21. In the guidelines issued regarding the organization of Chhath Puja, the Lieutenant Governor has written that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made this publicity even before the matter related to Chhath Puja was brought to his notice for my opinion and consideration.

This issue is very serious and goes against the basic principles of governance. The publicity of this method affects the decision-making process. The Lieutenant Governor has said that in matters related to public interest on a large scale, the Chief Minister is suggested not to do so in future. Let us tell you that in the past, the Delhi government had announced to preparation of 1100 Chhath Ghats for the organization of Chhath Puja, along with a budget of 25 crores has also been kept for Chhath Puja.
