Congress leader Pawan Kheda gets interim bail from Supreme Court, ban on arrest till Tuesday

New Delhi: A big decision has come on Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda. The Supreme Court has given interim bail to Pawan Kheda giving great relief. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the UP Police and the Assam Police to file an FIR together in this matter. The court has said that the cases registered against Kheda in different states should be clubbed in one place. Along with this, the court has stayed the arrest of Kheda till Tuesday.


After getting anticipatory bail, Pawan Kheda will now take a flight at 6.30 am to participate in the Congress session being held in Chhattisgarh. Randeep Surjewala has left for Raipur. Earlier today, Pawan Khera was stopped from boarding the flight at Delhi airport after the Assam Police requested him to stop. Delhi Police gave this information. Gehlot condemned Pawan Khera for being taken off the plane

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has condemned the incident in which Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera was offloaded from a plane in Delhi and termed it as an outburst of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Gehlot tweeted on Thursday, 'Senior Congress leader Pawan Kheda, who was going to participate in the Raipur Congress session from Delhi, was taken off the flight by the Assam Police. What was the emergency that the Assam Police came to Delhi and did this?' This is condemnable.
