Delhi: CNG became costlier by Rs 2 per kg, know how much the price increased in 60 days

IGL Managing Director Sanjay Kumar said prices are expected to remain high in the near future as international natural gas prices are also at higher levels. According to Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), the price of CNG in Mumbai is Rs 76 per kg.

However, according to data, the prices have increased by Rs 32.21 per kg or up to 60 per cent in the last one year. However, there has been no increase in the price of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) used in domestic cooking. It remains at a price of Rs 45.86 per SCM.


Don't expect quick relief


IGL Managing Director Sanjay Kumar said prices are expected to remain high in the near future as international natural gas prices are also at higher levels. According to Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), the price of CNG in Mumbai is Rs 76 per kg. CNG prices vary due to local taxes levied in different cities.
