Delhi: CNG became costlier by Rs 2 per kg, know how much the price increased in 60 days

CNG Price Hiked News: According to the information given on the website of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), which supplies CNG, the price of CNG in Delhi and NCR has increased from Rs 73.61 per kg to Rs 75.61 per kg. This is the 13th increase in prices since March 7. Overall, the price of CNG has increased by Rs 19.60 per kg during this period. IGL Managing Director Sanjay Kumar said prices are expected to remain high in the near future as international natural gas prices are also at higher levels. According to Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), the price of CNG in Mumbai is Rs 76 per kg.

New Delhi: New Delhi. CNG prices were increased by Rs 2 per kg in the national capital on Saturday. With this, CNG prices have increased for the 13th time in the last two months.

According to the information given on the website of CNG supplier Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the price of CNG in Delhi and NCR has increased from Rs 73.61 per kg to Rs 75.61 per kg. This is the 13th increase in prices since March 7. Overall, the price of CNG has increased by Rs 19.60 per kg during this period.


However, according to data, the prices have increased by Rs 32.21 per kg or up to 60 per cent in the last one year. However, there has been no increase in the price of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) used in domestic cooking. It remains at a price of Rs 45.86 per SCM.


Don't expect quick relief


IGL Managing Director Sanjay Kumar said prices are expected to remain high in the near future as international natural gas prices are also at higher levels. According to Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), the price of CNG in Mumbai is Rs 76 per kg. CNG prices vary due to local taxes levied in different cities.
