Delhi: Notorious arms supplier arrested after encounter in Dwarka area


The arms supplier was identified as Deepak. In search of him, 6 pistols and 104 cartridges were found. The accused told that he had brought this weapon and cartridges from Meerut and here he had to supply it to the people of Vicky and Saddam gang.

New Delhi: A declared criminal and a notorious arms supplier has been arrested after an encounter in Dwarka area of ​​Delhi. During the encounter, he was shot in the leg, 6 pistols and 104 cartridges were recovered from him.


According to DCP Shankar Chaudhary of Dwarka, his team had received information that 23-year-old Deepak, a declared criminal of Bindapur, is about to bring a large consignment of weapons. Acting on this information, a suspicious person was stopped near Dwarka Sector 18 on the morning of 4 October. Instead of stopping, he opened fire on the police. The police retaliated in which the man was shot in the leg and he was caught.


He was identified as Deepak. While checking him, 6 pistols and 104 cartridges were found. The accused told that he had brought this weapon and cartridges from Meerut and here he had to supply it to the people of Vicky and Saddam gang. According to Deepak, these weapons were to be used for extortion and other crimes during the festive season. The police are now searching for the rest of Deepak's associates. Many cases are already registered against Deepak.
