New Delhi: Delhiites are going to get relief from the scorching heat soon. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain for two days. Several states, including the national capital, are in the grip of scorching heat. People have been anticipating rain for many days. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain in Delhi for two days from Wednesday, due to which people are going to get relief.


At the same time, earlier the department had issued a yellow alert in view of the scorching heat. However, due to the possibility of a Western Disturbance becoming active again this week, the mercury may drop and people can get relief from the scorching heat.


The Meteorological Department has forecast that with the weather being clear in the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature may remain at 42 and the minimum temperature may remain up to 23 degrees Celsius. Also, on this day the wind can blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometres per hour. The weather pattern may change from Wednesday. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with a cloudy sky.


On the other hand, the air of Delhi-NCR has been recorded in the poor to very poor category. The worst wind was from Faridabad. Delhi's AQI was 251, Faridabad 358, Ghaziabad 239, Greater Noida 288, Gurugram 276 and Noida 269.
