Republic Day Parade Rehearsal from January 17 to 21

According to the Delhi Traffic Police, Republic Day Parade Rehearsals will be held in Delhi from January 17 to 21 at Rajpath. In view of this, traffic on Rajpath-Rafi Marg, Rajpath-Janpath, Rajpath-Mansingh Road and Rajpath-C Hexagon Road will remain closed from 9 am to 12 noon daily. During this the road from Vijay Chowk to India Gate will also be closed. That is why if you are planning to go on these roads in the next 4 days, then find other routes.


Celebration Cancelled due to Corona

Let us inform you that due to the Corona epidemic, the government has cut the celebration of the Republic Day Parade for the second consecutive year. This time only four thousand tickets will be sold to people for the celebration. Whereas only 25 thousand people will participate in the entire program. In this, the soldiers of the three services, para-military, officers of police administration and politicians are included.


The President of Central Asian countries will be the Chief Guest!

According to sources, the Presidents of five countries of Central Asia have been invited to be the chief guests in this year's Republic Day celebrations. However, a formal announcement has not yet been made by the government in this regard. If the Presidents of all the five countries visit India, then in the last 5 years it will be the second rare occasion after the arrival of 10 Heads of Government of ASEAN countries. When so many foreign heads of government will be in India simultaneously for the celebration.
