Farmers are coming to Delhi, and will rally in Ramlila Maidan, traffic police issued advisory

Delhi Traffic Police said that in view of this rally, movement on some routes may be stopped. Police has advised not to go around Ramlila Maidan from 11 am to 6 pm. Along with this, it has been said that people should use public vehicles.

New Delhi: In the year 2020, who can forget the farmers and their movement who surrounded the borders of Delhi. The borders connecting Delhi with the neighbouring states were completely closed by the farmers. Due to this movement of farmers, the central government had to pull back completely on the agricultural laws. Now once again farmers are coming to Delhi. This time they are not coming to the borders but to Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.


Farmers rally in Ramlila Maidan

The Kisan Garjana rally has been organized by the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh at Ramlila Maidan. More than 50 thousand farmers are expected to attend this rally. It is believed that these farmers will reach Delhi by about 800 buses and several thousand private vehicles. Due to this there can be a problem with traffic and jam in the capital. In this context, instructions have been issued from the Delhi Traffic Police.


Delhi Police issued instructions

In the instructions of Delhi Police, it is advised not to go to Ramlila Maidan and its surrounding areas from 11 am to 6 pm. Chandra Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Central Range of Delhi Traffic Police said that traffic from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Marg, Minto Road roundabout, Ajmeri Gate, Chamanlal Marg, Delhi Gate, JLN Marg, Kamla Market roundabout till Hamdard Chowk, Bhavbhuti Marg and Paharganj Chowk etc. will be converted.


Delhi Police has said that people going to New Delhi, Old Delhi and Nizamuddin railway stations should leave with sufficient time. During this, if possible, try to use public transport vehicles. Along with this, park your vehicles in the parking lot only.
