Railway employees can get bonuses even before Dussehra. This tradition has been going on for many decades.
Indian Railways gives bonuses to its employees every year. Last year, even during the Corona period, railway employees were given a bonus of 78 days. Last year, Rs 17,951 was given as bonus to the employees.
It is worth noting that earlier the government had announced to increase the dearness allowance for the employees of Indian Railways. Prior to this, the salary of these employees was getting according to the 6th Pay Commission. Now their dearness allowance has also increased. Their dearness allowance has been increased by 25 percent. The increased dearness allowance has been implemented from July 1.
