New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party and BJP have started counterattacking each other as soon as the municipal elections in Delhi are approaching. Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the Ghazipur landfill today. During this, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was also present with him. After visiting the landfill, Kejriwal told the media that this time the MCD election will be fought on the issue of garbage and we will clean Delhi in the next five years.
Kejriwal said, "If the Aam Aadmi Party wins the MCD elections, Delhi will be cleaned in five years. Kejriwal alleged that the BJP gave mountains of garbage to the three municipal corporations in Delhi during its 15-year rule and filled the entire city with garbage.
Gautam Gambhir's counter attack
On Kejriwal's statement, BJP MP Gautam Gambhir said, "Chief Minister Kejriwal should tell the people of Delhi how many times he visited the Ghazipur landfill site in the last 7 years. I have visited the landfill site 8 times in the last 3 years.
Kejriwal's allegation
Kejriwal said Ghazipur garbage heap is a mountain of BJP's bad deeds and corruption in municipal bodies. MCD elections will be fought on the issue of waste. BJP leaders abuse your son and your Shravan Kumar Kejriwal who makes you pilgrimage. will you tolerate it? Answer them in the upcoming MCD elections.
To this Gautam Gambhir said, "Today when the height of the landfill is decreasing, Kejriwal is going to do politics before the MDC elections." In a tweet, Gambhir wrote, "Election frogs come out looking at the sky, not seeing pain."
Gave one lakh crores to municipal bodies: Kejriwal
Kejriwal also alleged that the BJP embezzled Rs 2 lakh crore during its 15-year rule in the civic bodies. Kejriwal said they claim that I did not give money to MCD. In the last 15 years, he embezzled two lakh crore rupees, out of which one lakh crore rupees were given by the Delhi government.
No attention was paid to get rid of the mountain of garbage - Gambhir
Gambhir claimed, “I had invited the CM of Delhi several times to join hands to get rid of this mountain of garbage, but the CM of Delhi never paid heed to my request.”
Earlier, hundreds of BJP supporters demonstrated against Kejriwal and raised slogans. AAP workers also raised slogans against BJP. When BJP workers protested, Kejriwal alleged that BJP does not want anyone to come there.
