In his address, the Prime Minister said that the scope of the central agency has increased manifold but the main responsibility of the CBI is to make the country corruption free. He said, "India cannot progress without professional and efficient institutions like CBI. From bank frauds to wildlife-related frauds, the scope of work of CBI has increased manifold, but the main responsibility of CBI is to make the country corruption free." ."
Targeting the previous governments at the Centre, the Prime Minister said that corruption had ruined the base of our economy and banking system in the period before 2014. He said, "There was a race to do corruption ten years ago. Big scams happened during that time, but the accused were not scared because the system stood with them... After 2014, we fought against the root cause of corruption, corruption and hoarding of black money." Worked in mission mode."
He said, "Where there is corruption, youth do not get proper opportunities. A special ecosystem flourishes there. Corruption is the biggest enemy of talent and it is from here that nepotism and familyism get strengthened."

On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service to 18 officers of the CBI. He also presented Gold Medals to three officers for Best Investigating Officers. The Prime Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed office complexes of CBI at Shillong, Pune and Nagpur.
