Pictures of suspects who opened fire on the streets in Begusarai released

Police said a reward of Rs 50,000 would be given to whoever gives correct information to the police about the suspect wearing an orange shirt and sitting behind him.

New Delhi: There is panic in Bihar's Begusarai district on Tuesday after four men on two motorcycles opened fire at different places. In connection with this incident, 7 policemen have been suspended for the lapse in patrolling. A senior police official said one person was killed while 10 others were injured in the firing that took place on tuesday evening. The police, who have been trying to identify the attackers for a long time, has finally succeeded in extracting the pictures of the suspected attackers from the CCTV.


Informer will get reward

According to the information given by the DIG of the Begusarai area, 'In the pictures, there are suspects involved in the serial firing and murder incident in Begusarai. Whoever gives correct information to the police about the suspect, wearing an orange shirt and sitting behind him, will be given a reward of Rs 50,000 and his identity will be kept secret. In the pictures released by the police, 4 people are seen riding on 2 motorcycles, although their face is not very clear.


Policemen accused of negligence

Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Jitendra Singh Gangwar said, “7 policemen engaged in patrolling have been suspended as they could not stop the miscreants.” He said that the police are conducting raids to nab the attackers. On National Highway No. 28 under Begusarai district, two unidentified miscreants on motorcycles opened fire at different places in Phulwaria, Bachwara, Teghra and Chakia police station areas, in which 31-year-old Chandan Kumar, a resident of Hajipur under Barauni police station, died while 10 others. People were injured.


These policemen got suspended

According to the reports, the personnel of Bachwara, Teghra, Phulwadia and Barauni police stations besides Zeromail police post, FCI police post and Chakia police post did not work properly, due to which the accused were not caught. The suspended policemen included constable inspector Shashi Bhushan Singh of Phulvadia police station, Mukru Hembram, constable inspector of Zeromail police outpost, Vinod Prasad, assistant constable inspector of Chakia police station, Krishna Kumar, assistant constable inspector of Teghra police station, Ramendra Kumar Yadav of FCI police post, Barauni. Sanjay Kumar of the police station and Ramkishore Singh of Bachwara police station are involved.
