New Delhi: Realizing India's growing power in the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that now India is speaking on every major international forum with a sting and is reducing its dependence on other countries.
That's why we have to stay away from everything that is against the unity of our countrymen. We have to live up to the expectations of the world by proving our resolutions. He said that during his tenure, his government has tried to empower every neglected and deprived section of society and it is moving forward with the mantra of 'preference to the deprived'.
Prime Minister Modi was addressing the incarnation festival of folk deity Lord Shri Devnarayan at Malaseri in Bhilwara district on Saturday. The Prime Minister said, “Last year on Independence Day, I had urged people to walk on the Panch Pran from the ramparts of the Red Fort. The aim is that we all take pride in our heritage, get out of the slavery mindset and remember our duties towards the country.
Following the path shown by our sages and remembering the bravery of our martyrs is also a part of this resolution. He said, “It is the misfortune of the country that such countless fighters could not get the place they deserved in our history. But today's new India is also correcting those mistakes committed in the past decades. Now, to protect India's culture and freedom, whatever contribution has been made in the development of the country is being brought to the fore.
21st century period for India's development
PM Modi said that this period of the 21st century is very important for the development of India and for the development of Rajasthan. We have to unite and work for the development of the country. Today the whole world is looking towards India with great hopes. The way India has shown its strength to the whole world, it has shown its strength, it has also increased the pride of this land of warriors. I have full faith that with the blessings of Lord Shri Devnarayan ji, we all will definitely be successful. We will all work hard together.
Achievement will be achieved through everyone's effort. He said, “India is not just a landmass, but an expression of our civilization, culture and potential. Today India is laying the foundation of its future, the biggest driving force behind this is the power of our society, the power of the people.
Worry about house, gas and ration for the poor
PM Modi said that the people of India are proud of their thousands of years old history, and their civilization. He said, “There have been many attempts to break India geographically, culturally and socially, but none has been able to destroy the strength of the country's existence.
Referring to the various welfare schemes of the Central Government, he said – today free ration, and free treatment and the poor are getting houses. There was concern about the gas cylinder, we are removing that too.
Bank accounts of the poor are being opened. For the first time, the facility of 'Kisan Credit Card' has also been started for cattle rearers. The 'Gobar Dhan' scheme is also going on in the whole country. Piped water has started reaching more than 11 crore families. PM said that no PM has come here today, I have also come here like a normal passenger.
Blessed to see Lord Devnarayan
The PM said that I am blessed to have the darshan of Lord Devnarayan and Janata-Janardan. Shri Devnarayan Ji Bhagwan spread the spirit of harmony in the society, united the society, and worked towards establishing an ideal system.
This is the reason that every section of society has reverence and faith in him. The path shown by Lord Devnarayan is for everyone's development with everyone's support and today the country is moving forward on this path.
Pointing to India getting the chairmanship of G20, Modi said, “What a coincidence that it is the 1111th incarnation year of Lord Devnarayan ji. At the same time India got the presidency of G20. Lord Devnarayan was born on a lotus. Even in the G20 logo, the earth is shown sitting on a lotus. Union Culture Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and a large number of devotees were present on this occasion.
