New Delhi: The police administration has imposed Section-144 in Gautam Budh Nagar, one of the important cities of Uttar Pradesh and part of NCR. According to the information, as per the order of the Police Commissioner, Section-144 has been imposed in the Commissionerate from 1 April 2023 to 30 April 2023. Police said this has been done to maintain peace and order on upcoming festivals and important days.
More than 5 people will not be able to gather
According to the order, now 5 or more people will not be able to gather together and take out any procession etc. without prior order in the city. Along with this, more than 5 people will not be able to gather in one place.
Along with this, shooting with drones will not be allowed in government offices and its one-kilometre radius. Along with this, permission will have to be taken from the Commissioner of Police or Additional Commissioner of Police for shooting at other places as well.
Will not be able to worship and offer prayers at the disputed site
At the same time, it has been said in the order that during this time no worship or namaz of any kind will be done at any disputed site. Along with this, any kind of religious slogans and posters will not be put on religious places and walls etc. If any person is caught doing so, legal action will be taken against him.
