From 1993 to 2005, Warne took 293 wickets in 194 ODIs. He was instrumental in the winning Australian team of 1999 Cricket World Cup. Warne became the second bowler in the world, after Muralitharan, to take more than 1000 international wickets in Tests and ODIs combined.


Made his debut against India in 1992

Shane Warne made his international debut in the 1992 Sydney Test against India. He played his last Test match against England in January 2007 in Sydney itself. When Warne retired, three other Australian players had also retired.


It stars Glenn McGraw, Damien Martin and Justin Langer. After retiring from cricket, Warne played first-class cricket for Hampshire County Cricket Club. After this, in the year 2008, he played the role of coach and captain of IPL team Rajasthan Royals and made the team the champion in IPL.
