Shobha Yatra will be held in Jahangirpuri on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, police gave permission

All the Shobha Yatras that will take place in the North West District have been given permission by the police to take out the yatra only on the fixed route. Whereas in the North East, wherever there were riots, the police have given permission to take out processions on Hanuman Jayanti.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police has given permission for the Shobha Yatra to be held on Thursday on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti in Jahangirpuri. This permission has been given to regularize the route. This means that at 2 o'clock people will gather in E block and take out a yatra under police protection according to the fixed route.


This yatra will end by visiting the Hanuman temple. The end time of the journey will be around 6 pm. Apart from this, all the Shobha Yatras that will be taken out in the North West District, have been given permission by the police to take out the yatra only on the fixed route.


Whereas in the North East, wherever there were riots, the police have given permission to take out processions on Hanuman Jayanti. However, earlier the permission was cancelled in Jahangirpuri.


Delhi Police's statement came to the fore

In this case, the statement of Deependra Pathak, Special CP of Delhi Police has come to the fore. He said, 'Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in Jahangir Puri are being regulated in consultation with the organisers. We are making sure that it happens in a safe manner.
