Smriti Irani hosted a khichdi feast at her new home in Amethi, opposition members also attended

New Delhi: Union Minister Smriti Irani organized Khichdi Bhoj at her new residence on Monday. Apart from BJP leaders, people from opposition parties also participated in this banquet. Smriti Irani, representing the Amethi constituency in the Lok Sabha, has made her residence in the area.


His residence is in Medan Mawai village near Gauriganj, where he organized Khichdi Bhoj today. Smriti Irani was present in this program with her husband Zubin Irani. Minister of State Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Legislative Council Member Shailendra Singh, Zilla Panchayat President Rajesh Agrahari and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and workers participated in the Khichdi feast organized by Smriti.

Talking to reporters, Smriti Irani said that this program organized by her is not political, it is a private program, people of Amethi family, respected people as well as people's representatives also came. He said that the introduction of Amethi's cultural stream has been shown in this programme. In response to a question, Smriti said, "Today I will not answer any political question, I will talk about it next time."
